The Knights Hill Association is governed by a volunteer board of directors who employ a full-time manager. The Association is a not-for-profit corporation which maintains property owned by the Association. Individual landowners are responsible for their private property which has deed restrictions of a limited nature regarding how the property is used. There are no restrictions regarding renting, only that your tenants conform to the rules and regulations applying to everyone else. Click here to view the official website Knights Hill Neighbors.
Association amenities include a sandy beach, a large marina, swimming pool and tennis courts. There are two Association clubhouses with rest room facilities. The Association provides boat slips, streetlights and mosquito spraying. Roads are maintained by the Town of Bridgton. The annual dues are nominal, currently set at $875 per year. This fee includes the water district charge. You do not pay extra for a boat slip, although there may be a short waiting list. The Association voted Memorial Day Weekend 2004 to completely replace the pool with a larger and more exercise-friendly facility beginning the day after Labor Day, reopening in June of 2005. An annual payment for the eight year loan to fund this $200,000 project is included in this year's dues.
